This fall our artist is busy creating miniature worlds and adding to her miniature sculpture artist collection.  Mahieu's workshop desk is filled with needle tools, clay, and tiny facets that require a delicate touch.  Needle by needle she miniature houses and realistic looking earrings are being created.  

Are artist's advice this month - try something new.  One way to grow your creative side and your skill level is to try new mediums and materials.  Our artist started out with using oils and acrylics before she went digital.  Now, she's trying old fashioned 3-D - clay sculpture but scaled down to the size of quarters and anything under 2 inches.
