Who you are should be celebrated and cherished. As we grow we try to figure out who we are and how we fit into this world. One of the reasons our artist created some of her Korean related designs was because of bullying. Ignorance will choose to try to tell you that there's something wrong with your name, where you came from, and how you were born. The story's the same for every human being.
The only thing that adversity and bullying sparked in this artist was creativity and inspiration. Embrace who you are and all the parts that come with it. There will always be people who will make things difficult in life. Never let it stop you. The only mentality that should be adopted in our communities is cherishing who we are and all parts of ourselves.
