As my designs grow, I had to create something that made me smile. Being a lover of Korean Dramas or K-Dramas, I laughed so hard at a conversation in one of the episodes. Growing up in America, I'm learning some of the expressions used around the word.
Last night was the was first time I heard an expression for someone's who's too stubborn in Korean. The translated word is "Dunce Monkey". My husband was probably wondering why I was laughing at 2:00 in the morning. I was up late designing and put on a K-Drama in the background. I believe in immersion when I'm study a country, a language, and the arts.
What can I say? Having to watch hours of K-Dramas is a chore :) I've learned that there is a whole group of K-Drama lovers out here in this world. And none of us could live if those over-the-top episodes didn't exist.
